Happy birthday, Charlie Brown !

    2. This arrived faster then expected and in great condition. This is another wonderful Peanuts book. I’ve enjoyed Peanuts and especially Snoopy and Woodstock since I was a child. I have several and this is a great one for any Peanuts lover. I really enjoy reading the information about how and why Charles Schultz created each character. The background on each adds to the fun.I bought this book as used in good condition and it’s even better then I’d hoped for. It’s in like new condition. [...]

    3. This is a good Peanuts collection, but the material could have been presented better. For a fifty-year retrospective collection there should have been detailed discussions of each character, and you should be able to easily find the strips where each character was introduced. Instead the book is organized chronologically, e.g. the 50's, the 60's, the 70's. There are comments from Schultz sprinkled throughout the book in the margins near relevant strips, but if you wanted to find out what S [...]

    4. I suspect I was not the only one who entered the word "Peanuts" into the search engine when I hear that Charles Schulz had died. The magic of "Peanuts", I think, is that Mr. Schulz had his finger closely on the pulse not really of children, but of adults who take their childhood with them as they grow older. None of the "Peanuts" really behaves or thinks like a child, and that's why those of us who are Charlie Browns can identify with Charlie Brown, and those of us who are Lucys can iden [...]

    5. This is a great collection of Peanuts cartoons and all of the commentary and history is fun to read too.
